 Verified SCAMM Absolutely terrible and dishonest experience. I paid 55,000 LKR through this intermediary, and the official Sri Lanka Railways ticket they provided clearly shows a price of only 3,500 LKR. This is not a normal markup — it feels like a complete rip-off. There was zero transparency about the real ticket cost, and I feel cheated. To make things worse, they changed the train time without properly informing us. We booked expecting a train around 13:00 so we could enjoy the famous scenic views in daylight. Instead, they moved us to a 15:00 train, meaning much of the journey happened in the dark. This completely ruined the main highlight of this experience. Communication was also a disaster. They rarely responded, gave unclear answers, and we had to keep chasing them just to get basic information about our own booking. For the outrageous amount of money they charge, their customer service is unacceptable. And to top it all off, the booking stated that transport to our hotel at the end was included — but nobody showed up, no transfer was arranged, and we were left to figure it out ourselves. Another promise not delivered. This company adds huge markups, provides poor communication, changes plans without clarity, and does not deliver what is advertised. I strongly recommend booking directly with Sri Lanka Railways or a trusted local source instead. Avoid this company unless you want to overpay massively, be misled about schedules, and be abandoned at the end of your trip.

 Verified Terrible experience I had planned to visit a park and arranged for a pick-up, but the driver never showed up. I tried contacting them multiple times through calls and texts, but received no response. After some time, I managed to reach them through an app, and I was told the driver had gone to the wrong location. I triple-checked the address I had given, and it was absolutely correct. The driver didn’t attempt to call me and simply left without any communication. When I asked for clarification about what would happen next, they stopped responding altogether — all of this happening at 3 a.m. in the morning. I've been living in Sri Lanka for three years, and this was my first truly disappointing tourist experience here.

 Verified SLR Driver tours, exceptional SLR Driver Tours with the excellent driver/ guide Roshan Gunawardhana was a wonderful experience. From the outset communication and organisation was first rate. Roshan was professional, knowledgeable, flexible, resourceful, and just easy to be with. He went above and beyond to lead us through the north, sharing insights into the history, culture and countryside of Sri Lanka. He is an incredibly calm and safe driver.
